Auray, France

In 2015 we spent two weeks in Quiberon, a peninsula on the coast of Brittany, France. It was so beautiful! I’ve been often to France but oddly enough never on the coast. It was two of the best weeks of my life. In 2015 I had no idea how to use my DSLR camera, something I’m finally learning now. My composition was fine, but the photos were technically not good. I don’t know why I didn’t take a class earlier to improve my skills and understanding of the camera.

These were taken in Auray, Port de Saint-Goustan. Looking back at these photographs I can see that they weren’t so sharp, and were overexposed but with a little Lightroom magic I’ve improved them a bit and still want to share them here in my galleries. They are beautiful memories and reflect where I was at the time as a photographer.

Am I alone in wanting to do take vacations over now that I understand the camera?? Surely I’m not the only one, right?!
