Stock Photography Bundle with Editable Mockup Templates

Stock Photography Bundle with Editable Mockup Templates

Another one from A creative mess

I’m moving posts from my old blog A Creative Mess. Especially blog posts I know you liked. This one contains free .psd Photoshop files of mockups and is linked to the original resources on Unsplash. Note that some photographers remove their accounts or photographs and that I have no control over the availability.

I love sharing stock photo collections with you. I’ve collected quite a few. Earlier today I moved a post here from ACM of a collection of flatlays which included one mock-up ready photo and a free template. Now I’m sharing a full collection!

EDIT THE MOCKUPS USING YOUR OWN IMAGERY

Below you’ll find the links to the photographers, and the download locations (including a link that takes you directly to the collection). You’ll also find the editable .psd templates in the shop here! The free Photoshop templates can be edited using smart objects and or using clipping masks.

Bundle with 12 Mockups (high res JPG + PSD smart objects + clipping masks) and the links to all 12 FREE stock images.

The images are perfect to display your artwork, invitation design, calligraphy or lettering piece on your website, blog, online store, Instagram, Facebook, etc.

HOW TO USE SMART OBJECTS AND REPLACE YOUR DESIGN

  1. Open the PSD file in Photoshop.
  2. Double click on the “Your Design Here” layer. It opens a new window.
  3. Insert your design into this window and position it. Click save and close the window.
  4. Go back to the window of the original PSD file. You will see your artwork there, placed exactly into the paper. Save your file and you’re ready to go!

HOW TO USE THE CLIPPING MASK TO REPLACE YOUR DESIGN

  1. Open the PSD file in Photoshop.
  2. Open the image you want to use in your design. If this is text with an image create it separately, save, close and open the image.
  3. Copy and paste the image and place between the two layers in the clipping mask folder. The names of the layers will assist you  –’add image below and TURN OFF THIS LAYER‘ &
place image ABOVE this layer‘ Remember to turn off the top layer as stated in the layer name. Once you’ve turned the layer off you will see your image.
  4. Drag, turn and resize image until you’re happy with the results. Save your file and you’re ready to go!

I’ve since collected more mockup ready images on Unsplash. You can view them using the link below. I’ll create a new bundle soon if there is interest in them Let me know in the comments if you want more. If there is a specific Unsplash (or other source) image you’d like to have edited let me know and maybe it’s something I can do for you. I don’t charge, I just ask you to Pay It Forward!
